Moving can be stressful, as we all know, and out-of-town moving efforts introduce additional factors that can add stress to the moving process. JOG Moving wants to help you with your logistics, and plan for a smoother and more stress-free moving experience.

Cost of out-of-town moving

  • 2-HOUR MINIMUM: but still hourly based on crew size.
  • MOVING PIANO/GUN SAFE: $50 add-on fee (ask about how this fee can be discounted)
  • TRAVEL TIME: Charged round-trip, travel time rates vary depending on distance traveled (based on percentages of our hourly rates)
  • FUEL/VEHICLE: Flat fee (depends on vehicle and distance)

Things to know

  • AVAILABILITY: JOG Moving welcomes assisting with out-of-town moving projects. However, sometimes our movers are busier than usual with in-town efforts and are not available to travel outside the valley on a given day.
  • WHAT TYPE OF OUT-OF-TOWN SERVICE? Just because it's an "out-of-town" move, doesn't mean it has to be from house to house. Our movers will travel out of town to help you with any of the moving services that we normally provide.
  • DEPOSITS: JOG Moving generally requests deposits for out-of-town moves prior to leaving city limits. Advanced payments for services are typically 1/3 to 1/2 the projected cost of the move.
